GTCELC Overview

Established in 2019, our English Language Club is more than just a place to learn — it’s a
movement to transform how we communicate. With the motto “Make your English better than
before,” we strive to build confidence, sharpen skills, and open doors to global opportunities
through the power of language.

2. Moderator: Mr. Md. Nadimul Huq Lecturer, Department of English
3. Co-Moderator: Mr. A. S. Al Mohaimin Khan Lecturer, Department of English

The English Language Club thrives under the dynamic leadership of its most dedicated student
representatives:

1. President: Md. Alamin
2. General Secretary: Md. Saiful Islam Rakib

Our English Language Club, since its inception, it has grown into a hub of creativity, confidence,
and communication. We believe that language is not just learned — it’s lived. That’s why our
club goes beyond traditional learning methods and embraces an activity-based approach to help
members truly experience English. From fiery debates that sharpen critical thinking to
spontaneous extempore speeches that build quick articulation skills, our sessions are designed to push boundaries and break comfort zones. Talk shows and movie reviews enhance analytical
thinking and conversational fluency, while fun sessions keep the atmosphere light, engaging, and stress-free. We also take learning beyond the classroom through outdoor sessions and hands-on experiences like video-making, where members develop storytelling, collaboration, and public speaking skills in a practical setting. Each activity is carefully crafted to build vocabulary, fluency, stage presence, and most importantly, self-confidence. With every meeting, our members don’t just practice English — they live it, grow with it, and inspire others to do the
same, always guided by our motto: Make your English better than before.
